Home made Butter icing for cake decoration



Ingredients:
  1. Unsalted Butter - 250gm
  2. Icing Sugar - 250gm
  3. Vanilla Essence - 1 teaspoon

Method:
  1. Sieve the icing sugar and keep aside
  2. Beat the unsalted butter until pale and light,
  3. Slowly incorporate the sieved icing sugar little by little(1 Table spoon at a time) until well combined
  4. Add vanilla essence and mix well again

** If you need a pure white icing, make sure your vanilla essence is a clear one, else you can omit it.
** If you are using the icing for decorating, you may add any desired food colour and the consistency of the icing can be adjusted by adding more icing sugar. For example, if you want to write on the cake with butter icing, you will need a more consistent that you need to cover a cake
